Reasons Why You Should Book and Appointment

When you visit any Long's Jewelers store, we never require you to make an appointment. You can always simply walk into one of our stores to browse for a beautiful gift for you or someone special.

We do, however, often recommend making an appointment with us before stopping by. Here are a few reasons why booking an appointment will benefit you:

1. It saves you time

Time is one of your most valuable resources and making an appointment can help you make the most of your time. For example, we can save you a lot of time and effort by having the items you want to see put aside and available as soon as you walk in the door.

Booking an appointment with Long's also ensures that the right sales associate or manager is available at that time. We have staff that specialize in many different areas, including watches, diamonds and fashion jewelry. We will make sure that the best associate for that category will be available for you.

2. It will be more customized towards you and your needs

When you book an appointment, you have the opportunity to tell us what you are looking for before coming into the store. That way, our associates will have an idea of what pieces you may want to look at and will have time to think about and research other pieces that you may not have considered.

We can customize your appointment completely towards you and can plan ahead based on the details you provide to us.

3. You get to see the jewelry up close & try it on

How many times have you ordered clothes or accessories online, only to have them look completely different in person? Jewelry is the same way. With fine jewelry, so much of the value of the piece comes from the intricate details that may not show up in an image online. Items almost always look different when photographed.

That's why we always recommend booking an appointment and coming into the store first to look at the product. Our store associates can show you each piece that you are interested in seeing and will point out what makes the piece unique.

You would also have the chance to try on the jewelry to see how it looks on you. Sometimes what you imagine it may look like is different once you actually have it on you and are looking in a mirror. We want you to help you find what makes you feel your best!
