Insurance Appraisals

Diamonds, engagement rings, watches and jewelry are financial and sentimental investments, and Long’s Jewelers recommends insurance coverage in case of damage, loss, or theft. Insurance appraisals should be updated periodically on your policy for current market values. Long’s Jewelers offers insurance appraisals by Certified Gemologists, which means all major insurance companies will uniformly accept your appraisal. 

Call your preferred store for insurance appraisal fees (price is dependent upon quantity and type of items being appraised) or to make an appointment on an appraisal day per the below schedule. Drop-off appraisal requests are also often accepted. If the appraisal schedule is full, call the store directly to inquire about drop off options. Long’s will appraise your jewelry for insurance purposes while you wait, and the document completion takes approximately 2 weeks.
