ANTIQUE 14K ROSE GOLD RUBY AND DIAMOND RINGESRG7025 || $715 || SHOP NOW Rings have long been a fan favorite in the jewelry world. In the early 19th century, they were a particularly popular accessory and women liked wearing several on each hand. By the late 1800’s, cluster rings became the height of jewelry fashion. Cluster rings varied greatly in shape and design. Some featured a single cabochon stone surrounded by smaller stones while others feature a variety of smaller stones in a set shape. Marquise cluster rings, like the one featured here, were the most opulent of gem-set rings. This style has been popular since the late 19th century, and continues to be sought after today. This antique marquise shaped ring is set in 14k rose gold with three round cut rubies and 12 old mine cut diamonds. By the 1920’s, art deco became the style du jour. Bold, abstract, and colorful forms were very popular. Dress rings were also a favorite. Women were drawn to a heavier, more substantial style, which meant larger center stones. As precious stones began to be difficult and expensive to obtain, this demand for large, brightly colored stones lead to a surge in the use of semi-precious stones like aquamarine, citrine and topaz. Here we have a vintage 14k two-tone peridot and diamond ring. It’s set with a round cut peridot weighing 3.43 carats, and is framed by 14 single cut and old mine cut diamonds. Pin VICTORIAN 14K YELLOW GOLD PEARL BAR PINSOLD! Pins, or brooches, were the most popular and widely produced piece of jewelry in the 19th century. This lead to a wide range of styles, materials and levels of quality. With the increased interest in science and astronomy, celestial jewelry flourished in the 1800’s. Round crescent moon brooches were an extremely popular style throughout the 19th century, and for this reason, were made to suit all pockets. Bar brooches also enjoyed a surge of popularity in the 1890’s due to the high collar fashion of the time. Today these simple pins are a great, versatile addition to any jewelry collection. Here we have a lovely Victorian bar pin is set in 14k yellow gold with 13 graduating half pearls. Pendant ANTIQUE KREMENTZ 14K GOLD SAPPHIRE LAVALIER PENDANTSOLD! Pendants were a common jewelry piece in the beginning of the 20th century. Women wanted to emphasize a long, swan-like neck, and to achieve this, neckwear became extremely important. These pendants were much more delicate and lightweight than necklaces of the previous century. Here we have a beautiful, antique lavalier pendant by Krementz & Co set with a round cut sapphire. Founded in 1866, Krementz & Co. was known primarily for collar button and cuff links, however they also produced some lovely jewelry in the late Victorian and Art Nouveau style.
