A Long's Proposal Story: Cathy & Seth

The proposal story of Cathy and Seth, as told by Cathy:

“Seth and I often went to Cape Cod for the weekend since his parents have some vacation homes there. But for the first time we were going to the house with the beach front view. On Saturday evening, bundled up to accommodate the October weather, we visited the Cape Cod National Seashore. We walked the beach and found a lovely spot where seals were popping in and out of the water. After staring mesmerized I turned around and…Poof! He was gone! After a moment of confusion I look down to see him on his knee holding out a box with something sparkly in it. I don’t remember much after that, but I must have managed to get the word “yes” out. I had no idea he was even thinking about proposing. After 8 years together and limited discussion of marriage, I had no reason to suspect. But today I still have on my hand one of the most beautiful diamonds I have ever seen, and an even better husband to go with it.”
