This long distance love was worth the wait! Read on to see how Stephen surprised Francesca with a beautiful, custom designed diamond ring during a Boston sunset at the Arnold Arboretum. On behalf of the entire Long's team, congratulations and best of luck!

How did the two of you meet?

"Francesca and I met while I was visiting a friend in NY. We both knew that it would be very difficult to start a long distance relationship with me living in Boston, but the connection we made was so special that we were sure it was worth it."

How did he propose?

"Three years later and I was ready to propose! I went to Long's because of their reputation of having the best quality jewelry around, and they did not disappoint. During quarantine we would regularly take walks through the Arnold Arboretum. This time was going to be special though with the ring in my pocket. When we got to the top of Peters Hill overlooking the City of Boston around sunset, I got down on one knee and proposed. Francesca thought I was joking at first but her laughs turned to tears of joy when I showed her the ring. She said yes and we celebrated with Champagne. We are set to be married December 2021!"

Tell us about the engagement ring!

Stephen proposed to Francesca with a platinum petite prong round diamond engagement ring. The round center stone is 1.30 carats, D color, SI2 clarity and also has 20 more small round diamonds halfway around the mounting.
