Mines Fall Park is one of the most instantly recognizable and vital parts of the city of Nashua. The park is surrounded by forest, wetlands and open fields. No matter what time of year you go, there is always an activity or something beautiful to look at. It's hard to find places with great views all year round, but at Mine Falls you are always guaranteed to get perfect pictures to show off the special time in your life.

2) Benson's Park - Hudson, NH

Expert advice: "Benson's Park is a really beautiful spot for engagement photos. In addition to the charm of the former animal houses left over from when it was Benson's Animal Park, the entire park has been lovingly restored and manicured to provide the perfect place for a picnic themed engagement shoot or just a day at the park. Volunteers have worked very hard to landscape Benson's and have made it an incredible place. There are a variety of places for photos within the park: open fields, Swan Lake, the Elephant Barn and old Depot. It's a unique place to be able to bring in a variety of looks."

3) Downtown Portsmouth, Prescott Park, & Strawberry Banke - Portsmouth, NH

You have everything from an ocean view to the historic buildings and beautifully landscaped areas of Strawberry Banke and the community garden and piers at Prescott Park. Not to mention all the local businesses that create a beautiful backdrop if you're looking for a more urban feel. Coffee shops and outdoor seating at many of the local restaurants provide an intimate look to really capture the moments when you are lost in each other and the moment and seem to be the only two people in the world."

4) Sandy Point at Great Bay Estuarian Reserve- Greenville, NH

Expert advice: "Another hidden gem in New Hampshire for engagement photos is the Great Bay Estuarian Reserve in Greenville, NH. Like several of the other locations, there are plenty of spots for photos and it's not usually very crowded. This leaves it open for being able to take photos anywhere you want. There are grassy areas, a small water feature, and of course, the estuary itself. This place, like many others in New Hampshire, is truly a hidden gem. It offers options for unique photos that I guarantee your friends don't have!"

5) St. Anselm College - Manchester, NH

Expert advice: "If you were a student at St. Anselm, then having your engagement photos done here is almost a must! You absolutely cannot beat the beautiful ivy covered walls of the iconic Alumni Hall. (This would also be a beautiful spot for a proposal!) Not only do you have the gorgeous building for a backdrop, there are also quite a few places right around it that make for great photos as well. There is a Weeping Beech Tree that provides an awesome area for a few intimate moments, not to mention being able to use some of the sports facilities. If you were an athlete in college, you know you spent most of your time on the field or court. What better way to incorporate something meaningful to the two of you!"

For years, Mountain View Grand has been one of the best places in New Hampshire to get spectacular view of the White Mountains. It is a more romantic setting with Mountain View Grand being a resort, so you get the amazing view without having to hike. The resort is surrounded by thousands of trees, so in the fall you get gorgeous foliage to be the perfect back drop against the mountains. No matter the season, you are guaranteed to get perfect pictures with views some people only dream of seeing. Bonus tip, if you don't feel like going straight home after your engagement shoot, stay the night at the resort that is known to be " a resort like no other."

8) Wallis Sands State Beach - Rye, NH

Expert Advice: "Wallis Sands provides a beautiful coastal environment for the ocean and beach lovers. There are benches positioned along the water overlooking a small cove and some of the best of New Hampshire's rocky coast. There's also a beach available for photos and several hidden spots that make for perfect spots to capture intimate moments between a couple."

9) Conway Scenic Railroad - North Conway, NH

Conway Scenic Railroad- The Spragues

Expert Tip & Photo Credit: The Spragues

North Conway is one of the most popular places to visit in New Hampshire. People love it for its shops, dining and village-style hotels. But when it comes to engagement shoots, the Conway Scenic Railroad is completely unique. The main terminal is located in the historic area of downtown North Conway with great views of the White Mountains Valley. They don't make railroads like this anymore, so if you're a couple that enjoys history, you will be able to capture all of that in your pictures here.

Fun fact: Throughout the year, there are special events where the rail road has a theme. For example, in December there is a weekend where the train is like the Polar Express. Sounds like a perfect winter engagement session to us!
