Our newest Long's couple, Melissa and Alison, recently got engaged with a stunning solitaire engagement ring that we can't stop staring at. We're swooning over this romantic Disney-themed proposal! Talk about a princess moment. Read all about it, as told by Melissa:

How did Alison propose?
"Throughout our three years of dating, walking up and down Beacon St from our apartment in Cleveland Circle to the Public Gardens was a weekly occurrence. On the walks, my fiancé always loved this one building just past Washington Square in Brookline. She described the building as the castle from Beauty and the Beast and always loved to go into the courtyard.

On the day of the engagement, I had my sister and the photographer arrive early and set up a rose in a glass jar, just like the one in the Disney movie. On our walk to brunch, I asked if she wanted to see the courtyard as we passed. When she walked in, the rose in the jar was sitting in the middle of the courtyard with Alison Leigh Mehan, will you marry me? on a card inside. I got down on my knee and asked her to marry me, which was a small feat because she tried to yes before I even asked."

And what about that stunning engagement ring?
"The ring is a solitaire diamond with a platinum band and tulip, four prong setting."
