A Long's Proposal Story: Laura & Kenneth

Congratulations to the newest addition to the Long's family, Laura and Kenneth! We are so thrilled for their recent engagement, and we loved hearing all the details about their engagement. From all of us at Long's, congratulations and best of luck!

How did you meet?
"We have actually known each other since high school. We had mutual friends. It wasn't until he asked me out and my best friend reassured me I would have a good time even if I wasn't up for the whole dating scene. And that's the beginning of us. We were inseparable."

How did Kenny pull of the perfect proposal?
"The night of the proposal was such an unlikely night. We were going to celebrate Kenny's 30th birthday with friends and family at a local brewery. We had ordered pizza and cake, and it was just a great night. I just remember everyone moving to one side of the room and I followed. Kenny was on the microphone, thanking me for all I had done to celebrate his birthday, for what I have done for us and how much he loved me. I can't believe I am so lucky to call this man mine."

And we LOVE your engagement ring! Tell us about it:
"The ring is breathtaking. A beautiful solitaire diamond with a platinum raised setting. It's simple and elegant. Absolutely perfect."
