A Long's Proposal Story: Katelyn & Jay

How did the two of you meet?

"I was a waitress at the cheesecake working my way through college. He was a cook in the kitchen. One day, he didn't come to a work event so I sent him a message teasing him. The rest is history "

How did he propose?

"We had our first child in March. Jay originally wanted to propose at the shower, but not everything fell into place. One night, he offered to be on baby duty so I could sleep. I woke up in the morning with the baby, and she has a different sleeper on. I figured she had a wet diaper, and didn't think much of it. I brought her into her room to change her diaper, and when I unzipped her sleeper, her onesie said 'Mommy, will you marry Daddy?' I turned around, and there he was on one knee. I was speechless and could only utter the word 'babe' over and over again. Eventually I managed to say 'YES!'"
