A Long's Proposal Story: Christopher & Curtis

A romantic evening in paradise! Read on to see how Curtis surprised Christopher with his stunning, new ring while on vacation in Mexico. On behalf of the entire Long's team, congratulations and best of luck.

How did the two of you meet?

"We met by chance at Starbucks. He was there getting a coffee on his lunch break, and I was on my way out."

How did he propose?

"We took a 7 day trip to Playa del Carmen in Mexico in March of 2018. On the fourth evening, after a romantic dinner, Curtis suggested we take a walk on the beach at our resort. It was the perfect evening. There wasn't a cloud in the sky that night. The stars were so bright, and there was a light breeze coming off the water. We sat on a lounge chair and talked for a few minutes. Then Curtis "dropped" something in the sand and started digging to find it. I turned on the flashlight on my iPhone to help, but when I turned the light toward where he was looking, all I could see was the sparkle of the diamond ring in his hand. He quickly got off the chair and went down on one knee to ask me to marry him."

"He had the ring designed after a David Yurman piece I liked. It is breathtaking and Long's did a superb job creating this one of a kind piece."
