A Long's Proposal Story: Carolyn & Cody

How did the two of you meet?

"We met in college, and have been together for 7 years!"

How did you propose?

"On Marathon Monday, we were celebrating our mutual friend's completion of the marathon. I really wanted to leave to go to dinner, but Carolyn kept saying, "No let's stay!" Eventually, we made it to dinner and then headed back to our apartment. While we were out, my friend decorated the apartment with candles, balloons and roses. We walked into the apartment, and she was completely surprised. She said YES! We then went to the bar across the street where all of our friends were waiting to celebrate with us."

Tell us about the engagement ring!

"The ring is set with an oval diamond and diamond band."
