Proposal Story: Alex and Erin
The story of Alex and Erin, as told by Erin:
“One Friday afternoon, Alex came home from work a little early to find me sitting on the couch eating pineapple.
He sat down on the couch next to me and said, “I have a surprise.” I responded, “Fun! I have a surprise for you too. I bought you a Mountain Dew. It’s in the fridge.” This was a pretty routine moment as we often surprise each other with little things that each of us likes to make each other happy. After a pause, I said “Is it candy?”
It turned out that Alex didn’t have any candy on him, but instead gave me a shiny diamond ring and asked me to marry him. After calling our family and friends, Alex took me on a romantic weekend away to Maine.”
