Since 1985, Long’s Jewelers has served as an Official Sponsor of the Boston Marathon, providing individual trophies for the race winners each year. We also provide licensed merchandise to commemorate the historic race. New this year, we are adding limited edition art prints by award winning artist Misha Lenn. Misha’s depiction of the finish line at the Boston Marathon will be available for purchase both online and at the John Hancock Sports & Fitness Expo prior to the 116th Boston Marathon.

On Tuesday, September 27, some Long’s customers had the opportunity to attend a private concert with Yo-Yo Ma and the world renowned Silk Road Ensemble at Harvard’s New College Theatre in Cambridge, MA.

In May, Long’s Jewelers had the pleasure of hosting Ivanka Trump in our Boston store in the Financial District to mingle with guests and share an expanded selection of her jewelry line. An intimate group of Long’s customers was thrilled to meet Ivanka and try on her jewelry which is a collection of unique jewels that Rock Tradition with a modern twist on fine jewelry’s most desirable classics from the 20s to the 60s. Ivanka combines her innate understanding of modern luxury with a vision of heirloom-chic jewelry that fits perfectly into the lives of today’s intelligent, self-assured women and inspires elegance in a new generation.

Long’s was excited to be a part of the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra inaugural spring Celebratory Event last week at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Boston. Along with their Honorary Host Committee Members Yo-Yo Ma, Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino, Angela Menino, and actor Stephen Lang, BYSO hosted hundreds of guests to celebrate the achievements of BYSO’s young musicians. The centerpiece of the evening was a performance by fifty BYSO musicians led by Music Director Federico Cortese.

Recently, Long’s was honored to help a 97 year old man with his last wish: to finally give his wife an engagement ring after 65 years of being happily married.

Long’s Jewelers delivered another packed house during its annual Wedding Band Weekend event at their Burlington location Friday March 25 through Sunday March 27, 2011. Over 2,000 young women and men visited Long’s that weekend to find the wedding bands that fit their dreams and their budgets.
