Diamond Shapes
Choosing a diamond is a personal choice. Whether you prefer a round, or fancy shape stone such as a radiant, royal asscher, princess, emerald, oval, marquise, and others, Long's provides you with all the options you desire. It is important for you to see and try on all the possibilities so you can make an educated decision.

Settings
Choosing a setting can be just as important as choosing your diamond. The mounting should compliment the diamond you choose. Whether you prefer classic elegance such as a simple solitaire, or modern styles from designers such as Scott Kay, Memoire, Ritani and many others, Long's selection of mountings is unsurpassed. Our custom design team is also available to create your own unique styles by using the latest design technology.

Keeping Your Diamond Safe
Because platinum is the most durable metal, we recommend a platinum head for your diamond. Due to its strength and resilience, platinum is the best choice to protect your diamond in the mounting. It's best not to cut corners on this part of the ring. Mountings are available in platinum, 14K and 18K white and yellow gold.

Helpful Hints
  • Keep in mind you will need a wedding band. Consider the possibilities when choosing the setting for your diamond.
  • When considering a square cut diamond, look to a radiant cut
as well as a princess cut. One
may be more appealing to you than another.
  • When choosing a white metal for your ring, platinum is the best choice. Platinum is the strongest, most resilient and purest metal for diamond settings.
