The clarity of a diamond describes the inherent characteristics or birthmarks of the stone. In general, a diamond with greater clarity is more rare and will have higher value. However, most internal birthmarks are not visible to the naked eye. Therefore, your decision should be based on your own personal preferences. While flawless diamonds are the most rare, a diamond does not have to be flawless in order to be stunning and perform well.
